True Litmus

John Piper says that, " God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him." He calls this Christian Hedonism. I have been thinking a lot lately about what God wants from me. Someone asked me what it is that I want to measure in my life - at the end of my life. I know there is significant discussion - especially in church planting - on what we are supposed to measure in the church / in our lives. What if it's not about what we should measure that will be the issue at the end of our lives, but how satisfied was I with God? How many of the opportunities to be satisfied in Him did I take full advantage of? This would seem to me to be the true measure of a person...
